How To Attract More Instagram Followers - Faster: A Fast, Easy Tip To Implement.

THE TIP: If you follow someone and you want them to follow you back, make it as fast as possible for the other person to find out a little more ABOUT YOU.

How can you do this?

By using the first line in your Instagram bio, not your username, but your first line, to describe something about you that might attract your ideal audience to want to follow you.

You may be saying to yourself now, but don’t I already do this in my bio? Yes, but… read on..and you will understand.

AN EXAMPLE

Below are people who have recently followed me on Instagram.

Notice how these new followers aren’t using their first line to build credibility with potential followers and how only 2 are using their first line to give potential followers a hint at what they do?

They are making their potential followers click again to read their bio. And while it’s true that the bio is where you build further credibility with potential followers - if you can do it, TOO, in your first line, you will get more followers, faster.

Why? In the world of the internet and what’s called UI [ user interface ], every extra click you make someone take means you lose them.

People will follow you more often, the faster you can make it for them to understand you are credible.

Let’s look more closely at Anthony. Anthony’s first line, as it stands now, repeats his name again, but as you can see from his full bio below, he’s been featured in several credible publications.

Imagine if Anthony’s first line said:

Designer - As Seen In Arch Digest

See what I mean? His potential clients might be more likely to follow him because they know, immediately, what he does and that he's built enough credibility to be seen in Arch Digest. He could easily choose Forbes, instead, or any of the other publications listed in his longer bio here, for his first line, too.

Now, let’s take a look at Cara.

This is how her first line looks.

The first thing you are probably noticing is that she has an adorable Instagram username, but it doesn’t tell anyone what she does. That’s why she’s using her first line to share that she talks about Home + DIY.

But what if Cara’s first line said:

As Seen In House Beautiful.

Do you see how that might help her gain more credibility faster, and even more followers than the 86,000 + she already has?

As it stands now, all that additional credibility building info is in her bio, but not in the first line that people see when Cara follows people or when they see her name on Instagram in their feeds.
